The Southern Black Hills in South Dakota
It is the home of unsurpassed beauty with a business climate you won’t find anywhere else. Study after study ranks South Dakota as one of the best states in the union to do business and one of the highest qualities of lifestyle. The Southern Black Hills, located in the southwest corner of the state, offers four seasons filled with untouched beauty, right-sized communities,  affordable housing and affordable business expansion opportunities with quality education plus tons of recreation.

We are a four season community. You'll awake to the sounds of meadowlarks singing in the Spring and Summer. Play golf, soak in the warm, pristine waters, explore, hike or bike the Mikelson Trail and fish, boat and camp at the beautiful Angostura Lake.  In our Fall & Winter's seasons, enjoy hunting for Wild Turkey, Deer and Elk. Our Winters are mild and you can enjoy cross country skiing, ice-fishing, photography, or just a cozy mug of hot chocolate.

Take a second look at the Southern Black Hills. It really is a great place to grow your business, live, work, or retire. We are a growing community offering comprehensive healthcare. The Fall River Health Services is a complete health care system that serves Fall River County and our surrounding communities. Contact us today or call us at 605.745.3551.

Our Numbers they tell the story ...
A Comprehensive Health Care System
Fall River Health Services offers a comprehensive healthcare system that provides medical services for Fall River County.
The Fall River Hospital currently offers 25 beds in its new critical care hospital and is one of 38 Critical Access Hospitals in the state of South Dakota. Hot Springs is the only Critical Access Hospital that was developed from the ground up which did not have a current hospital license to convert. This is a feat which speaks of the commitment and desire of our community for primary health services. The purpose of the critical access program in South Dakota is to maintain and improve access to essential health service in rural areas.  more
